The Southwest Parke Board of School Trustees will conduct a public hearing and public meeting on Wednesday, August 12, 2026 at 7 PM in the Corporation Office. Members of the public are invited to participate.

On Tuesday, August 4, 2026, Rosedale Elementary School, Riverton Parke Junior/Senior High School, and the Corporation Office will be without internet and phones. The Southwest Parke Board of School Trustees will conduct a special public meeting on Thursday, July 23, 2026 at 6 PM in the Corporation Office. The Board will interview candidates for the vacant board seat, appoint a Board member, and elect a Board president. The meeting is open to the public.

The Southwest Parke Community School Corporation will be intermittently staffed this week due to a variety of meetings and planned leaves. The Corporation Office will likely be closed in full on Friday, July 17, 2026. Please call before visiting the office this week to ensure that someone will be available to assist with your needs. Effective July 1, 2026, the Southwest Parke Community School Corporation Board will have a vacancy for the Florida Township Representative. The Board invites individuals interested in serving the remainder of the term (through December 31, 2026) to apply for the position.

To apply for the position, please submit a letter that provides full contact information (name, address, township of residence, telephone number, email address) and includes responses to the following questions:

1. What is the role of a Board member?
2. Why do you want to be a Board member?
3. What experiences have prepared you for Board service?
4. Please detail your understanding of public school finance in Indiana.

The Southwest Parke Community School Corporation Office will begin observing summer office hours Tuesday, May 26, 2026. The corporation office will be open Monday through Thursday from 8:30 AM until 3:30 PM. The corporation office will be open Friday from 8:30 AM until 12:00 PM. Summer office hours will be in effect through Friday, July 31, 2026.
