On Monday, April 8, 2024, all Southwest Parke schools will operate on an e-learning schedule. Students will receive learning packets tomorrow. Please have your students begin their lessons Monday morning because there are some pre-eclipse activities that should be completed in preparation for the big event Monday afternoon, as well as some observations to note as they experience it. If you have any questions regarding the activities, please reach out to the teachers.
The CDC has changed guidelines for Covid illness and it will now be treated like any other respiratory virus. Your student will no longer require a five (5) day isolation period before returning to school. Your student will now be able to return to school once they start to feel better with symptoms improving. However, your student must still be fever free for 24 hours without the use of fever-reducing medicine (Tylenol or Ibuprofen, etc.) before coming back to school.
You may take additional precautions for five days upon return to school such as wearing a mask and social distancing, but this is not a requirement for returning to school.
Please call Nurse Marla at Riverton Parke at 765-569-2045, or email her (hasbrouckm@swparke.k12.in.us) if you have any questions.
Southwest Parke Parents/Guardians: We need to update residency information for all students in our schools. If you have not submitted proof of residency, please provide that to your school as soon as possible. Than you!
