The Southwest Parke Community School Corporation and Riverton Parke High School are saddened by the accident today involving one of our students. Counselors from the corporation, North Central Parke, and Hamilton Center are available at RPHS to help students and staff process all that has taken place. We will continue to provide support as needed throughout this process. Our thoughts and prayers are with those nearest to the situation.

The Southwest Parke Board of School Trustees will meet in special session tonight - Monday, February 2, 2026 - at 7 PM in the RPHS Cafeteria. The public is invited to attend this public meeting. The meeting will also be streamed on our website for those who are unable to attend in-person.
All Southwest Parke schools will operate on a 2-hour delay schedule tomorrow - Friday, January 30, 2026. Please be safe as you travel to school a little later tomorrow morning!
Synchronous Learning will continue tomorrow (Thursday, Jan. 29) for RP. The schedule will remain the same. Thank you all for your flexibility and efforts to allow learning to continue over this past week. I've once again attached the schedule, but also included some reminders while using Google Meet. All Southwest Parke Schools will conduct synchronous e-learning on Thursday, January 29, 2026. Students should receive information from their schools and teachers regarding what times to be online. Please be sure that students are logged on and active at the assigned times.

Tuesday, Jan 27th will be a Synchronous Elearning Day. Live instruction via Google Meet with a modified schedule. The students have prepared for this. The Jr. High Dance Scheduled for this weekend (Saturday), has been rescheduled to Feb. 6th from 7:30pm-9:30pm due to potential weather.
