Video evidence shows a number of parents from both the visiting school and from Riverton Parke High School intervened and quickly separated the students. Video evidence shows that within minutes several law enforcement personnel and EMS were on the scene, having been alerted to the incident via a 911 call.

It appears that winter weather may be making another appearance in the near future. As such, students should arrive home today with learning tools that would be used for elearning. Currently, we have one asynchronous (student self-paced) elearning day remaining. After that day has been used, we will need to conduct synchronous elearning. Synchronous elearning is different from our other elearning days. On a synchronous elearning day, students have specific times they need to be logged onto their devices to interact with teachers and other students. Individual schools will provide you with details regarding times to be logged in. If your student will be absent from the synchronous elearning period due to illness or appointments, please contact the school as you usually would for an absence.
The learning tools sent home today should be used if an elearning day is called. If no elearning day is called, the tools should be returned to school fully charged for use.

Please be safe today!
Please be safe in your travels!

Planning for post prom has already begun and we need your help! We need to raise nearly $20,000 to have an entertaining and prize filled night!
Our primary fundraiser is the weekend of October 31 - November 1-2, 2025. We operate the food stand at the IXCR Motorcycle Race on Virostko Farms outside Coxville, IN. The address is: 7546 Virostko Rd, Rockville, IN 47872. We sell biscuits and gravy, chicken and noodles and chili throughout the weekend. This weekend will raise the majority of the funds needed for Post Prom, but it also takes many donations and workers.
We are reaching out to both students and parents looking for those workers and donations for the weekend. Four to five-hour shifts and items that are needed are listed in a “live” spreadsheet that has been sent to you. There are directions in the top left corner of the spreadsheet if you need them. Please sign up to help!
If everyone donates just one item-- we should have pure profit for the weekend. We need your help, please!
Please email one of the officers below if you have any questions.
These donations need to be taken to Micah Humphrey’s classroom no later than October 24, 2025.
