UPDATED STATUS NOTICE - All Southwest Parke schools have moved to a synchronous e-learning schedule for today - Monday, March 2, 2026. Please prepare to log on to your school e-learning site this morning. Please look for specific communication from your school shortly.
All Southwest Parke Schools will operate on a two-hour delay schedule today - Monday, March 2, 2026. We will continue to assess road conditions over the next couple of hours and may take further action later if warranted. Take your time and be extra cautious traveling to school a little later this morning.
The weather forecast for Monday and Tuesday of next week indicates that we may see some winter weather returning. As such, students are coming home today with learning tools necessary to conduct synchronous e-learning if needed. Please be alert for communication from the corporation or the schools at the start of next week. Thank you for all of your assistance during this winter season!
All Southwest Parke schools will operate on synchronous e-learning on Wednesday, February 25, 2026. RPHS e-learning start time will be an hour earlier than typical (logging on at 8 AM) to allow for a full day of instruction in morning hours. Elementary e-learning start times will be the same as usual. Teachers and building principals have shared information with the students regarding the schedules for the day. Please look for those communication pieces.
Please note the master schedule change for the Synchronous Learning Day scheduled for 2/25. This schedule only applies for tomorrow for our Jr. High and High School Students.
The Southwest Parke Community School Corporation and Riverton Parke High School are saddened by the accident today involving one of our students. Counselors from the corporation, North Central Parke, and Hamilton Center are available at RPHS to help students and staff process all that has taken place. We will continue to provide support as needed throughout this process. Our thoughts and prayers are with those nearest to the situation.
