Vacancy Announcement: Effective January 1, 2026, the Southwest Parke Community School Corporation Board will have a vacancy for the At-Large Representative. The Board invites individuals interested in serving the remainder of the term (through December 31, 2026) to apply for the position. Please see the attached posting for further details regarding the application process and timeline.
The Riverrton Parke FFA and REMC is sponsoring a Food Drive that benefits our local communities. Incentives are in place including a T-shirt for donating 5 items, and an Ice Cream Float Party to the class that brings in the most items. Please give what you can. The Food drive ends on Friday Morning.

Planning for post prom has already begun and we need your help! We need to raise nearly $20,000 to have an entertaining and prize filled night!
Our primary fundraiser is the weekend of October 31 - November 1-2, 2025. We operate the food stand at the IXCR Motorcycle Race on Virostko Farms outside Coxville, IN. The address is: 7546 Virostko Rd, Rockville, IN 47872. We sell biscuits and gravy, chicken and noodles and chili throughout the weekend. This weekend will raise the majority of the funds needed for Post Prom, but it also takes many donations and workers.
We are reaching out to both students and parents looking for those workers and donations for the weekend. Four to five-hour shifts and items that are needed are listed in a “live” spreadsheet that has been sent to you. There are directions in the top left corner of the spreadsheet if you need them. Please sign up to help!
If everyone donates just one item-- we should have pure profit for the weekend. We need your help, please!

Sophomore Class - Herff Jones Representatives will be at RP on Monday, Sept 29th from 2:00pm-5:00pm to take orders for Class Rings. This is an optional purchase. Students received forms earlier this week.
Class of 2026 - Herff Jones Representatives will be at RP on Monday (Sept 29) from 2:00pm-5:00pm to take orders for Caps and Gowns. Only required purchase is Cap and Gown ($44.95). All other items are optional.
The 8th Grade Field Trip to the Wetlands has been cancelled for tomorrow (9/22). Students will attend classes as normal. The host cancelled.

We are super excited to host community-centered events to bring our Panther Nation together and unite our amazing communities. We are hopeful for a large attendance at all home football games this year as we support our Panthers and cheer them on to victory. We are asking for your help as we protect the safety of all fans - young, old, and everyone in between.
There has been a growing number of unsupervised youth running around the football stadium during games. This becomes especially problematic near and around the concession and restroom area as this is a high traffic area for all fans. While we LOVE to see the young Panthers eager for their day on the field, we have unfortunately experienced hazards as a result of this unsupervised play. We ask that all fans attend and actively watch the game and cheer on our Panthers.
Please help us ensure that the younger Panther fans are supervised by their guardians throughout the contest. All of our mini Panthers need to refrain from playing and running near these high traffic areas of the concession stand, bleachers, and restrooms. Additionally, please keep footballs at home. We appreciate your support in ensuring safety and an enjoyable experience for all.
