Attention Riverton Parke students! A wonderful opportunity awaits. Next summer Riverton Parke is hosting an EF tour across Central Europe to examine events of the Holocaust. We will travel through Germany, Poland, and the Czech Republic, including Auschwitz and Warsaw. Here are some afternoon updates regarding Southwest Parke buses:
Route 6 - May be delayed due to power crews working on the west hill.
County Line Road will have normal drop offs.
Route 11 - Student drop off will be the same location as this mornings pick up location. Estimated time of arrival at the Bridgeton Baptist Church is 3:20-3:30.
If you need to change your student’s end of day transportation due to these restrictions, please call the school as soon as possible.

5th and 6th Grade Football practice is canceled for tonight due to rain. Have a great night.
Jr. High Cross County Practice will start tonight, afterschool until 4:15pm. Open to all 5th-8th grade students. Physicals needs to be on file with the school before participation in practices. The Southwest Parke Board of School Trustees will conduct a public hearing and public meeting on Wednesday, August 12, 2026 at 7 PM in the Corporation Office. Members of the public are invited to participate.
Riverton Parke: Please note the changes in Parent/Bus Pick Up at the end of the school day. Parents will pick up in the rear of the building, and the bus pick-up will take place in front of the building. Anticipate delays as we navigate these new changes. Thank You!

The Southwest Parke Board of School Trustees will conduct a special public meeting on Thursday, July 23, 2026 at 6 PM in the Corporation Office. The Board will interview candidates for the vacant board seat, appoint a Board member, and elect a Board president. The meeting is open to the public.

The Southwest Parke Community School Corporation will be intermittently staffed this week due to a variety of meetings and planned leaves. The Corporation Office will likely be closed in full on Friday, July 17, 2026. Please call before visiting the office this week to ensure that someone will be available to assist with your needs.
