August Student of the Month Spotlights - High School Edition
Last week, our August 'Students of the Month' were announced! Today, we will be shining a light on the high school students who were named August 'Students of the Month!'
Riverton Parke Jr./Sr. High School 'Students of the Month' are recognized for their academic achievement or improvement, leadership, and courtesy. These awards are decided on by a team of teachers.

Balloon Release in Memory of Chase Bennett
The Riverton Parke Senior Class is sponsoring a Balloon Release at this Friday's home football game. Students can purchase balloons during lunch on Thursday and Friday for $2, or balloons can be purchased at the game for $5. All proceeds will benefit the Chase Bennett Scholarship Fund. Balloons will be released at the conclusion of the football game.

The Southwest Parke Board of School Trustees will conduct public hearings related to the 2027 Budget, 2027 Capital Projects Plan, and 2027 Bus Replacement Plan on Tuesday, September 9, 2026 at 7 PM in the Riverton Parke High School Library. Following the public hearings, the Board will convene its regular monthly meeting. The public is invited to attend.
Riverton Parke Announces Fall 2026 Homecoming Court
Riverton Parke High School is gearing up for an exciting week of school spirit as members of the Fall 2026 Homecoming Court are announced. Selected by a vote of their peers within each respective class, these students will proudly represent their classmates throughout the homecoming festivities. Students in grades 9 through 12 will vote to select the Homecoming King and Queen from the senior candidates, with the winners announced during the game on Friday, September 18.

Throw on your coziest fall outfit: a flannel, jeans, RP gear, or even a casual dress if you want to dress up a bit, or just wear whatever you feel best in. Grab your friends and get excited! Please reach out to the student council or Miss Hartzler with any questions.
