Learning Opportunities for students in grades 3-8 over Fall Break. Take a look at the poster:

Fall pictures are schedule for Wednesday, September 10th, 2025. Picture forms have been sent home. If you need another copy, we have them in the office. Dress your best and bring your smile!

Please be sure to open up the Harmony Family Access on our website to give us your proof or residency. You can take a picture and upload it OR bring something in to our office so we can scan it. We have over 100 students that this needs to be done. We also have several parents/guardians that have not given us a copy of their child's birth certificate. Please do so as soon as possible. We will be making phone calls next week if this has not been completed.

We will be having a fundraiser "HAT DAY" Friday, August 15th. For $1.00, students can wear a hat for the day. All the money collected will go towards a family here in Montezuma that is in need. If you wear a hat on Friday, please bring in $1.00.

Southwest Parke Food Services is pleased to introduce a nutritional software program called My School Menus beginning SY 25-26. This interactive software will allow parents and students to easily access menus through a mobile app or using the URL link https://myschoolmenus.com/organizations/2698
This software will allow the user to see all nutrition facts, allergens and attributes of each item used in our menus, as well.

PRESCHOOL ANNOUNCEMENTS: If you live within the Southwest Parke School Corporation district, you will not be charged for Preschool. If you live out of the Southwest Parke School Corporation district, you will be charged $20 a day. If you are new to our preschool, you will need to come by the school to fill out paperwork and bring in a birth certificate and proof of residency. The office will be open until June 6th, 2025. I know many of you filled out a form last month, so you should be on our Preschool list. If you are unsure if you are on the list, please contact Mr. Emmert at 765-245-2303. Thank you.

PRESCHOOL ANNOUNCEMENT: Students who live within the district boundaries will be permitted to attend preschool free of charge. Program emphasis will be 4 years olds; however, 3 year olds may enroll as space allows. Student enrollment numbers will dictate the number of classes available. Students who reside outside of the district may attend preschool as space allows. Students who reside outside of the district will be charged $20/day. The corporation will also pursue On My Way Pre-K provider status.

Ice Cream has been sold out from the cafeteria. There will be no more ice cream for sale during lunches.

Montezuma families, If you would like your incoming kindergarten student or incoming sixth grade student to get their required vaccines with Valley Professionals before school is out, their last visit will be Monday, May 12. If you are interested please contact Nurse Marla at Riverton Parke- 765-569-2045 so I can put your students’ name on their list so they will know what vaccines to bring. If you have any questions please call Nurse Marla at the above number.

Thursday, May 8th, 2025, is FIELD DAY!! Students will have games and field day activities in the morning. In the afternoon, students can partake in the Foam Party and then a Kona Ice. We strongly suggest students bring a change of clothes/shoes/socks. If you have any questions, please contact the school.

Progress Reports have been sent home with students today, Friday, April 25th, 2025. If you have questions concerning progress, please contact your child's teacher. Have a great weekend.

SCHOOL DANCE, 80's STYLE Tomorrow night, April 24th, is the 80's School Dance. This will be for Montezuma students only in grades 4-6. This is FREE of charge. There will be music and concessions. The dance will be from 5:30 PM to 7:00 PM. All students must enter through Door 2 by the flagpole.
