March 4th-15th is the IREAD-3 Assessment. This year, both 2nd grade and 3rd grade takes the assessment. Their will be information coming home for 2nd grade and 3rd grade parents/guardians.

To err on the side of safety, the 1st Grade Field Trip to Butler University has been cancelled today because of incoming weather. The 1st grade will have other field trips coming up for them to enjoy.

Progress Reports for the 3rd quarter will be sent home with students on Friday, February 9th, 2024. Report Cards will be available for students on Friday, March 29th, 2024.

Patchy dense fog across the area is making visibility difficult this morning. Overnight rains have impacted some roadways. Daylight will make travel safer for our buses and drivers. With our recent closures, the following flex and make up days will be used. Please mark your calendar and plan to be in school as follows:

Friday, May 24, 2024 - In Session - Make up day from January 19, 2024
The state allows us three e-learning days per year. One will be April 8, 2024 for the eclipse. We will prepare e-learning plans for two additional days should weather closures be necessary in the future.

Please make sure your student is dressed for the weather. We will be going outside unless the temperature and wind chill make it feel like it is 32 degrees or below, it will then be at the principal's discretion. I would also make sure that if your student walks to school, to make sure they have a winter coat, hat, and gloves when it is 32 degrees or below. Thank you.
