The weather forecast for Monday and Tuesday of next week indicates that we may see some winter weather returning. As such, students are coming home today with learning tools necessary to conduct synchronous e-learning if needed. All Southwest Parke schools will operate on synchronous e-learning on Wednesday, February 25, 2026. RPHS e-learning start time will be an hour earlier than typical (logging on at 8 AM) to allow for a full day of instruction in morning hours. Elementary e-learning start times will be the same as usual. Teachers and building principals have shared information with the students regarding the schedules for the day. Please look for those communication pieces.

The Southwest Parke Community School Corporation and Riverton Parke High School are saddened by the accident today involving one of our students. Counselors from the corporation, North Central Parke, and Hamilton Center are available at RPHS to help students and staff process all that has taken place. We will continue to provide support as needed throughout this process. Our thoughts and prayers are with those nearest to the situation.

SWP Re-Vision Meeting at Montezuma at 6 PM today
Students have been reminded to NOT bring toys, trading cards, and other items to the school. The school is NOT responsible for those items. Please check your students book bag before coming to school to make sure those toys and items stay home. If students have them out, the items will be kept in the office until the end of the day.
