The Southwest Parke Board of School Trustees will meet in Executive Session on Wednesday, October 7, 2026 at 6 PM. The meeting will be held in the Corporation Office.
On Friday, September 11, 2026, the Corporation Office personnel have a variety of meetings away from campus. As such, there will be periods of time when the office is closed. Please call ahead before you make the trip to the office to ensure the person or persons you need to see are present.

BOOK FAIR VOLUNTEERS NEEDED
Our Book Fair is coming up (September 14-18), and we need adult volunteers to help make it a great experience for our students!
Students will visit the Book Fair during their scheduled Specials time. Monday will be our preview day, and Tuesday-Friday will be shopping days. Volunteers will help students:
- Select books and stay within their shopping budget
- Run the cash register
- Restock and reorganize books/items as needed
Each volunteer shift is approximately 3 ½ hours. A Google Sheet is linked below for sign ups. Please put your name where it says adult name and add your Rosedale student's name in the parentheses. All volunteers must have an approved background check on file before their scheduled shift.
Morning Shift: 8:00- 11:30 a.m.
Afternoon Shift: 11:15 a.m.-2:45 p.m.
The 15 minute overlap is intentional to accommodate PK specials and allow time to transition the cash drawer between shifts.
The Book Fair will also be open during our Fall Carnival on Thursday, September 17, so we will need several volunteers to help during the carnival as well.

The Southwest Parke Board of School Trustees will conduct public hearings related to the 2027 Budget, 2027 Capital Projects Plan, and 2027 Bus Replacement Plan on Tuesday, September 9, 2026 at 7 PM in the Riverton Parke High School Library. Following the public hearings, the Board will convene its regular monthly meeting. The public is invited to attend.
Here are some afternoon updates regarding Southwest Parke buses:
Route 6 - May be delayed due to power crews working on the west hill.
County Line Road will have normal drop offs.
Route 11 - Student drop off will be the same location as this mornings pick up location. Estimated time of arrival at the Bridgeton Baptist Church is 3:20-3:30.
If you need to change your student’s end of day transportation due to these restrictions, please call the school as soon as possible.

Southwest Parke Schools will be open today at the normal time. Bus routes may have been impacted by the storms. Please be patient. Here are some impacts we know of:
Route 11 can only get to two stops in Bridgeton. The bus will be at Bridgeton Baptist Church at 6:45 AM to pick up students.
Route 7 will not be able to go down County Line Road.
Route 7 and 8 will have to do the Villarosa stop at the highway.
Route 5 uses 800 and Slaven. There may be issues in that area.

UPDATE: The internet outage that affecting Riverton Parke Jr./Sr. High School and the Corporation Office has been resolved.

We are currently experiencing an internet outage that is also affecting the phone systems at Riverton Parke Jr./Sr. High School and the Corporation Office. Our service provider is aware of the issue and is working to restore service as quickly as possible; however, we do not have an estimated time for resolution at this time.

The Southwest Parke Community School Corporation is undergoing a change in internet service provider. On Tuesday, August 4, 2026, Rosedale Elementary School, Riverton Parke Junior/Senior High School, and the Corporation Office will be without internet and phones. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, and we appreciate your patience as we make this update to our technology.
