It was standing room only last Tuesday evening at Riverton Parke Jr./Sr. High School for the Winter Band and Choir Concert. The evening started with a combined effort between the junior high and high school bands to open with "The Star-Spangled Banner." The high school choir entertained the crowd with "Once Upon a December," "Feliz Navidad," and "Run, Rudolph, Run." The eighth grade band played "Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer," and the seventh grade band played "Frosty the Snowman." A cookie reception followed with delicious treats made by Lucy Collom and Hazelle Hill. The band and choir is directed by Lora Ann Pine.
