  • $1,000 Scholarship prizes

  • Let your social studies teacher know asap if you are interested and to get a brochure

Voice of Democracy Essay Contest

\r\n
  • Open to grades 9-12

  • Prizes range up to $30,000 and an all expense paid trip to Washington DC

  • 3-5 minute audio recorded essay required

  • Deadline October 31, 2022

Coca Cola Scholarship

\r\n
  • 150, $20,000 scholarships are awarded each year to seniors

  • Must have a min. 3.0 gpa

US Ghost Adventures Scholarship

  • $2,000 award

  • Must write a true or fictional story

telling about the “ strangest, spookiest, or most unexplained event that’s happened in your life, or impress us with your imagination!”

Elks Most Valuable Student Scholarship

  • Parke and Vermillion County Residents

  • Local $1,000 award

  • Local winner moves onto next level for a chance at $10,000

  • New Hoosier Aces Award: Full tuition, fees and room and board for student with a zero EFC on the FAFSA and a 3.5 or above gpa

  • Aces Opportunity Grant: Once admitted, students who qualify for free or reduced lunch and whose family makes less than $50,000 a year are automatically awarded free tuition and fees.  (You are however still responsible for room and board.)
