\r\nThe tech-safety company Bark recently shared a list of twelve most widely-used and most dangerous apps for young people to have on their phones. Here is the top five:
\r\n1. Snapchat
2. Instagram
3. Discord
4. Yik Yak
5. Among Us
Do you have these apps? Why? What's the purpose? Why do we place such a high priority on staying connected on social media? Because it's cool? Because it's expected from peers? Fear? What do you gain (or seek to gain) from social media?
\r\nThe negativity on these apps concerns me. Don't be involved, and don't fall into the web mean spirited comments or posts. Life is full of choices, and each time you look at your phone, you are making a wide range of decisions. Take that seriously.
\r\nCreate a new normal of kindness. Seek out others and use words like......
