​Riverton Parke Students Attend Ivy Tech COB and COG

On Friday, April 29th, Riverton Parke Agriculture and Science students had the opportunity to attend the 2022 Ivy Tech COB and COG held at the Ivy Tech Campus in Terre Haute.  COB and COG is an annual event presented by Duke Energy.  This event is a fun-packed, educational day filled with various competitions around the topics of agriculture, technology, engineering and precision agriculture.  Dalton Keltz-Purcell, Jeremey Cox, Derron Hazzard and Luci Lientz competed in Drones.  Blake Miller, Wyatt Koch, Grant Harkrider and Paxton VanHook competed in Machinery Inspection.  Katilynn Koch, Collin Watson, Jack Harrah and Alyssa Fellows competed in the Livestock Judging contest.  Mason Haltom, Gabe Lewis, and Jason Fanton competed in the Welding contest.  Alexis Nichols and Autumn Nichols competed in “Whatever Floats Your Boat.”  Ella Harper, Brooke Harkrider, and Jenna Amerman won the “Chain Reaction” contest.  The Riverton Parke teachers who had students attend COB and COG included Laura Bennett, Micah Humphreys and Michaela Woods.
