On Friday, April 22nd, eight Riverton Parke FFA members competed in the Area V Livestock Judging Contest held at Clay County Fairgrounds. Members had to judge seven classes of livestock animals including cattle, swine, sheep, and goats, and present oral reasons over three classes. Sophie Sanders, Rhylie Cannon, Jase Martin and Izzy Suggs placed 10th out of 19 teams. Katilynn Koch, Jack Harrah, Collin Watson and Brayden Griffin placed 12th. Individually, Katilynn Koch was the 10th overall individual, Jase Martin was 15th and Rhylie Cannon was 16th out of 84 competitors. The livestock judging team is coached by FFA Advisor, Michaela Woods.
