Six Riverton Parke FFA members attended FFA Advocacy Day held in Indianapolis on Wednesday, February 23rd. Advocacy Day is hosted by Indiana Farm Bureau. Throughout the day, students had the opportunity to hear opening remarks from Randy Kron (President of Indiana Farm Bureau), attend breakout sessions to better develop their advocacy skills, tour the Indiana Statehouse, attend a lunch reception where both Governor Eric Holcomb and Lieutenant Governor Suzanne Crouch spoke to the members, and heard closing remarks from Bruce Kettler (Director of Indiana State Department of Agriculture). The Riverton Parke FFA Advisors are Micah Humphreys and Michaela Woods.
