Community Service Challenge and Celebration

The Riverton Parke Chapter of National Junior Honor Society (NJHS) celebrated National Honor Society Week April 19-23 with spirit dress up days and a canned/non perishable food drive. The members of NJHS conducted a community service project, and challenged all junior high tutorials to bring in canned foods and non perishable items. The tutorial with the most items donated won a square donut breakfast. In total, 366 items were donated and Mr. Kyle Stewart’s tutorial was rewarded with squared donuts. All collected items were donated to the Parke County Resource Center. The NJHS sponsor is Heather Sedletzeck.
