Hayden Gilstrap and Lindsey Sowers were named Riverton Parke Jr./Sr. High School’s winter homecoming king and queen at festivities held Friday night, February 12th. Hayden is the son of Angie and Jason Gilstrap. He has played basketball for 4 years and been in the FFA for 1. He volunteers at the Bridge Festival and enjoys hanging out with friends and his girlfriend. Lindsey is the daughter of Tessa and Kreg Sowers. She has played Volleyball for 3 years, basketball for 1 year and track for 2 years. She was the Most Improved in volleyball and track plus won best attitude in basketball. She attends Cross Tabernacle Church, studies at Thompson's cosmetology and loves to skate and eat food with friends. The night ended with a varsity basketball win over North Vermillion. Homecoming activities were sponsored by RPHS Student Council and teacher Sara Martin.
