Clubs Help Spread Christmas Cheer

Students from Riverton Parke’s Jr. High Student Council and Interact Club joined forces for a visit to Vermillion County Convalescent Center. Caroling, strolling through hallways, and giving out hand-made snowmen was on the agenda. Both groups enjoyed cookies and fellowship with many residents at VCC. “Our motto in  Jr High Student Council is ‘leave people better than you find them, ’” says Sharon Brown, student council member. The students also promote Communerosity; generosity and a sense of community.
