Members of the Riverton Parke FFA Officer Team had the opportunity to attend the Leadership Development Workshop (LDW) on September 6-8, 2019. LDW is held at the FFA Leadership Center in Trafalgar, Indiana. LDW is designed for chapter leaders. This year’s focus was on ‘Chapter Involvement.’ Members listened to sessions facilitated by the Indiana FFA State Officers. Topics discussed included: Diversity and Inclusion, Member Recruitment and Retention, and Chapter Planning. Students also had the opportunity to test out the ‘Ropes Course’ and hear from the 1971-1972 Indiana FFA State Vice President, Marty Matlock.
