Riverton Parke Junior High School competed in the Junior Academic Super Bowl at Sarah Scott Middle School on Saturday, April 29, 2023. The math team earned a first place finish. The English and science teams each earned a second place ranking. Riverton Parke Junior High competed in Class 3 this year along with North Putnam Middle School, Sarah Scott Middle School, South Knox Middle School, South Vermillion Middle School, and West Vigo Middle School. This year’s contest theme was “The Age of Exploration.” The Indiana Academic Super Bowl is a program of the Indiana Association of School Principals. The teams were coached by Lucas Mackey (math), Leigh Ann Lawson (science), Amanda Games (English) and Aaron Hines (social studies). Lisa Harmon is the junior high school academic coordinator.
