Riverton Parke FFA Competes in Area V Livestock Judging Contest

Three members of the Riverton Parke FFA Chapter competed in the Area V Invitational Livestock Judging Contest on Friday, April 21st held at the Vigo County Fairgrounds. Students had to place seven breeding or market classes of beef cattle, swine, sheep, and goats, then present three sets of oral reasons to a judge. As a team, Jack Harrah, Katilynn Koch, and Joel Harrah placed 5th out of twenty-six teams. Individually, Jack Harrah placed 7th overall, and Katilynn Koch placed 12th out of ninety individuals. The livestock judging team is coached by FFA advisor, Michaela Woods.
