On Saturday, April 22, a group of Rotary members and Riverton Parke Jr./Sr. High School Interact Club members came together to improve the community. These two groups teamed up to paint over graffiti on the Crooks Covered Bridge in order to keep the bridge looking its best. The bridge painting is done on all surrounding bridges around the county once a month. Four students from the RP Interact Club volunteered their time to help.
Interact is a service club for youth ages 12 -18 who want to connect with other young people and have fun while serving their communities and learning about the world. The club is sponsored by The Rotary Club of Rockville, Indiana, and RP teacher, Cortney Passmore.
