Coach Jared Garman has received the first annual Coach Steve DeGroote Coach of the Year Award from the West Central Fellowship of Christian Athletes. Coach Steve DeGroote has been an outstanding coach in the Wabash Valley. He has positively impacted athletes and the community in many ways including leading FCA huddles, mentoring athletes, and coaching baseball at West Vigo High School. This year, WCFCA created the Coach of the Year Award in honor of the legacy Coach DeGroote left. The inaugural Coach of the Year
Award was given to Jared Garman. Garman is Riverton Parke High School's varsity girls basketball coach. Garman received a standing ovation at the awards ceremony. Congratulations!
