The S.T.A.R. (Students Taking Action and Responsibility) Committee met recently to analyze the information it received and announced the winning students who demonstrated this month’s character trait: optimism. All students who were nominated received a locker decal that celebrated their nomination. The Star Student winners received an RP hoodie. This program was made possible through a grant from Parke County's Local Coordinating Council.
This month’s Star Students demonstrating optimism are: Bailey Tribuzio, Kayla Hopton, Bella Garman, Oree Peterson, Jacob Long, Kayli Hazzard, Avah Blacketer, and Vanessa Resendiz.
Also chosen as a Star student for optimism is Malee McElroy.
