Riverton Parke FFA Members Attend Junior High Day at FFA Center

Thirteen sixth, seventh, and eighth grade Riverton Parke FFA members traveled to the Indiana FFA Center in Trafalgar, Indiana on Saturday, May 10, 2025 for Junior High Day. Junior High Day is a leadership training for our junior high FFA members which introduces them to the vast opportunities available to them through FFA. Students participated in various sessions facilitated by the 2024-2025 Indiana FFA State Officer team and Jack Lingenfelter, National FFA Southern Region Vice President. During the sessions, students learned about the various Career Development Events (CDEs) and Leadership Development Events (LDEs) FFA has to offer, what it means to be a leader, completed the ‘Low Ropes Course’ where students must be teamwork and leadership into action, and determined why FFA is for them.
