The Career Club wanted to make something special for their favorite teachers during Teacher Appreciation Week. As a class, they researched options and decided to make chocolate dipped pretzel “pencils.” The class created a shopping list and went to Walmart to buy the supplies. They dipped pretzels in yellow and pink chocolate to make them look like pencils. The students created over 200 pretzels! They created thank-you notes for each pretzel pencil package and delivered them to Montezuma Elementary, Rosedale Elementary, and Riverton Parke Jr./Sr. High School. In addition to making the pretzels, the Career Club also had a mobile donut cart during breakfast on Tuesday which visited the teachers and staff at Riverton Parke. The Career Club is very appreciative of the continued support for their special education work program. They extend a special “Thank You” to all teachers for everything they do for their students!
