Riverton Parke Junior High School competed in the Junior Academic Super Bowl at Sarah Scott Middle School on Saturday, May 3, 2025. Riverton Parke Junior High competed in Class 4 this year along with Barr-Reeve Middle School, North Vermillion Jr. High School, Parke Heritage Middle School, Rivet Middle School, and South Knox Middle School. The math team placed first in the regional competition and 14th in the state overall. The English team placed third in the regional competition and 14th in the state overall. The science team placed third in the regional competition, and the social studies team placed fourth in the regional competition.
This year’s contest theme was “Ireland in the Twentieth Century.” The Indiana Academic Super Bowl is a program of the Indiana Association of School Principals. The teams were coached by Emilee Hartzler (English), Cortney Passmore (science), Lucas Steward (social studies), and Lucas Mackey (math). Brandi Adams is the junior high school academic coordinator.
