Three students named Academic All-State Honorable Mention by their basketball coaches and the Indiana Basketball Coaches Association: Sarah Brown, Carson Cox, and Nick MacDonald. Sarah was nominated by her varsity girls’ basketball coach, Jared Garman; and Carson and Nick were nominated by their varsity boys’ basketball coach, Lucas Steward. To be considered, the student athlete’s GPA, SAT score, ACT score, and other academic information had to be submitted by their coaches. Sarah Brown will be attending Murray State in the fall; Carson Cox will be attending Rose-Hulman; and Nick MacDonald will be attending Franciscan University.
