The Riverton Parke High School National Honor Society continues to exemplify their charter’s character of service by contributing to worthy causes and performing services in their community. For this project, the group collected items to contribute to the Buddy Bag Program at Riverton Parke Jr./Sr. High School. The Buddy Bag Program sends food items home with students at the end of the week and helps supplement the food supply for students throughout the weekend when they do not have access to the school's cafeteria. The Buddy Bag Program is coordinated by teachers Leigh Ann Lawson and Lisa Harmon. The NHS is sponsored by Kristi Johnson.
