Sophomores and Parents,
Riverton Parke will be giving all sophomores the PSAT test next Thursday October 29, 2020 during the morning periods at Riverton Parke. The test will be on the gym landing and will start first thing in the morning, 8:00 AM, and conclude before high school lunch, approximately 11:20 AM.
Mrs. Cox will be going into the World History classes this Thursday and Friday (or early next week as a backup plan) to talk with the students about the PSAT and pass out the practice booklets. All sophomores all over the state will also be taking the PSAT test on that day. The PSAT is a good practice test for the SAT. PSAT scores can help with scholarship opportunities and sometimes college entrance. Students need to bring sharpened #2 pencils and a calculator with them to the testing location.
If you are a Virtual Academy student and would like to come to RP on that day to take the test, please contact Mrs. Cox, RP Guidance Counselor, by this Friday October 23,2020 to let her know. There are preparations she has to take before the test to insure that all students testing have the appropriate test packets.
