The Riverton Parke Jr./Sr. High School Jazz Band participated in the 46th Annual ISU Jazz Festival on Saturday, February 15th. As part of the festival, jazz students performed for highly renowned jazz professionals (photo 1) with a clinic afterward with Chris Parker, attended an improvisation clinic held by Jamey Aebersold (photo 2), watched the ISU Jazz Ensemble perform under the direction of Alexandra Signor, and attended an evening concert featuring the legendary Larry McKenna (photo 3). Riverton Parke Jazz Band members include: Abby Shepherd, Gabriela Campbell, Lucas Thomas, Brogan Collom, Sarah Livers, Mason Harney, Jaden Earles, AJ Fagg, Mikayla Plank, Anna Porter, Abby Hoggatt, Kyle Myers, Jed Richey, Mya Collom, and Emma Thomas. The Riverton Parke Jazz Band is under the direction of Mrs. Emma Norris.
