The Riverton Parke FFA Chapter was recognized at the Annual Soil and Water Conservation Meeting on Tuesday, February 25th held at the Parke County Fairgrounds.  FFA members, KayRae Chapman and Collin Watson, and FFA advisors, Micah Humphreys and Michaela Woods, attended the meeting and accepted the awards. Members of the Soil Judging Team were recognized for participating in the Area Contest this past fall, and the SWCD expressed gratitude to the chapter for assisting in the annual Parke County Ag Day and Soil and Water Conservation Day each spring.  These days are to educate all Parke County 4th graders (Ag Day) and all 5th graders (Conservation Day) about various agriculture topics.
